Luckily, a variety of fully-funded scholarships are available to assist overseas students in covering the price of a Canadian post-secondary education. It's vital to keep in mind that the various scholarship possibilities have different application requirements and deadlines. You may often only apply for scholarships granted by universities or colleges after you've been accepted into a study program. Depending on your achievements in school or outside activities, you could occasionally be automatically evaluated for scholarships without having to fill out a separate application. You might also need to be nominated or chosen by your department in order to be eligible for graduate-level scholarships offered by institutions. Undergraduate Scholarships

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships

A University of Toronto scholarship that provides financial aid to around 37 international students who’ve demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, alongside a diverse extracurricular resume, every year.

• Eligibility: You must be an international student (a non-Canadian who requires a study permit), currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2021, and begin your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2023.
• Coverage: Tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.
• Application deadline: January 17, 2023
• Other criteria: You must be nominated by your school and apply to undergraduate studies at the UoT
  
  

University of British Columbia International Scholars Program

These awards are made according to both merit and necessity. The Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award, the Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award, the International Impact Award, and the Vantage One Excellence Award are four of the fifty scholarships that UBC grants each academic year.

• Eligibility: You must be an international student (a non-Canadian who requires a study permit), entering UBC from a recognised secondary school, or transferring from your first year at another tertiary institution. You must require a level of financial aid that otherwise would prevent you from pursuing a degree at UBC.
• Coverage: Distributed based on need (the university dedicates around $10 million CAD a year to fifty recipients)
• Application deadline to apply: December 1, 2022
• Other criteria: You can only submit one application and are not allowed to choose which award to receive. Instead, UBC will distribute the awards it deems you eligible for.
